There’s a new modernity about fashion this 2012 autumn/winter.
Designers have embraced cut and shape pinching ideas from the 60s and 70s.
They have thrown everything in design at us this season from mod, clean sporty lines in mono or colour blocking to embracing the use of rich hued, decadent baroque designs embellished with jewels.
Strong themes and colours are coming through. Look for stories in black and gold, shimmer and sheen, graphic prints, decorative finishes and bold prints.

A leather piece is a must and you can still find animalistic elements about. Purple, jade and turquoise is showing up in all areas.
With accessories, handbags shrink to mini bags and heels just keep getting higher. Bangles are big and over the top, not unlike the exciting new season.
